Excellent reproduction World War One German M-18 helmets. The M18 Stahlhelm was introduced when the Pickelhaube was found to provide insufficient protection for trench warfare.
The M18 model was developed from the earlier M16 and M17 models and included a new two-piece leather chin strap, which is attached directly to the helmet liner rather than the shell.
These helmets have the rarer cut-out design on the rim to improve hearing, as well as protruding lugs, a padded leather liner and leather chinstrap.
