IR 80151 - Roman Stove

The Romans covered a great deal of territory for hundreds of years, moving armies even through the Alps and across the British Channel. The armies needed to be fed, and when possible cooked food was desirable.

This stove is of iron and is based on artwork and archaeological findings. Pots could be suspended from the handle or set on the grill, while the fire or coals would be in the box below. Cutouts in the sides allow for airflow.
