IR 80414 - Crusader Helmet

This Crusader Helmet is an excellent reproduction of the 11-12th century. During this period, the helmets used by the crusading knights evolved significantly in their shape and design.

Crusader helmet refers to the type of helmet that was popularly worn by the European knights during the medieval Crusades.

• The circlet on the top of the helmet resembles a crown, the laws of the time actually allowed anyone of sufficient wealth and nobility to place such decorations on their helmets.
• This reproduction is made of mild steel. A padded liner or cap inside the helmet is recommended for fit and comfort.
