30 Day Policy
At India Overseas Trading, our priority is to make certain of your 100% satisfaction with your purchase. If for whatever reason, you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you can return it to India Overseas Trading within 30 days of receipt of item(s). Claims for damaged, defective, or missing items must be received within three business days of receipt of merchandise.
Returns and exchanges can be made within 30 days from the original purchase date. Custom orders are not eligible for returns. Customers are responsible for the initial shipping cost and all return shipping costs. No credits are issued on shipping costs. There is a 20% restocking fee on ALL returns. The customer is responsible for the return shipping fees. Please note that the original shipping fees are not refundable.
All returned items must be in their original box or crating and must include all packing material, manuals, and accessories.
For any exchange requests, product(s) must be returned in good working condition. Opened or used products for exchange will be replaced with a unit of same or similar specs.
Please take care to package your return carefully. India Overseas Trading is not responsible for damaged or lost product(s) due to shipping. Any damaged or subsequent failure of the product related to inappropriate packaging will result in additional charges for the repair / replacement of the product(s). If the customer desires an expedited method of return, shipment costs will be incurred.
Exclusions & Limitations
1 Year Policy
India Overseas Trading offers a standard One (1) Year Limited Warranty on all products to cover all manufacturer defects. Our One (1) Year Limited Warranty is only valid when the defective item is accompanied by a proof of purchase from India Overseas Trading or an Authorized India Overseas Trading Dealer.
Please note our warranty does not cover product failure, any defect or malfunction that is caused as a result of overuse, misuse or failure to follow operating instructions, abuse, or use with improper or faulty equipment. It also does not cover incidental damages. India Overseas Trading will inspect the product according to the description of the request/problem listed in the Warranty Claims & Return form.
If the confirmed issue is the same as the problem listed in the form, the product will be repaired. If the item is unrepairable, it will be replaced with the same item. In the event that the item is no longer available, India Overseas Trading will replace it with an alternative item comparable in specs to the original item ordered.
If the description of the problem is different from the problem listed on the form, or damaged from delivery, we will contact the customer. If the product has no identifiable problem, we reserve the right to charge for return delivery. India Overseas Trading has sole discretion over deciding if a product will be repaired or replaced. India Overseas Trading does not offer advance replacements.
If a replacement product is required immediately, then the customer will need to place a new order for the item. If a product is confirmed used or abused upon return and review, the customer may be subject to labor and parts fee along with return shipment costs for replacements. Warranty repairs / replacements do not extend the original warranty period. India Overseas Trading is not responsible for shipping costs associated with warranty returns.
You must include your original Order/Invoice # for your request to be processed. You will be contacted by a India Overseas Trading representative for further assistance with your request.
No Warranty Credits or Exchanges for:
- Returned items that failed due to an accident, purchaser’s abuse or neglect.
- Returned items that failed due to rain, excessive humidity, corrosive environments or other contaminants.
- Returned items that are incomplete or defaced.
- Returned items that were special ordered or custom configured.
- Free Gift or Free Giveaway orders or certain discounted orders.
- Freight damaged items. If your shipment arrives damaged, you must note the damage on the carrier’s delivery record in accordance with the carrier’s policy, save the merchandise in the original box and packing it arrived in, and coordinate with us for a carrier inspection of damaged merchandise.
